5.2 Using templates to generate a metadata record
Note: This sub-section is for exercise of generating a metadata record using Dublin Core or FOAF.
- Dublin Core
- 1. Open the template from http://metadataetc.org/dctemplate.html
- 2. Open the resource to be described (use another browser tab)
- 3. Fill in the title, author, URL, etc. of the resource in to the template
- 4. View outcome from XHTML, XML, RDF, etc.
Suggestion: Use the following sources to create metadata records using the above tool and think about the differences.
