Structured Data for Bios (Beta) - Microdata

This is an experimental platform for digital bios. The initial goal is to use embedded structured data to increase the findability of bios, especially for those who are not included in the English Wikipedia or appear in search engines' knowledge graphs. The webpages' source codes are machine-processable, embedded with Microdata following the Schema.org vocabulary.

Note:

• Any of these bio pages can become your template. Simply open an editor, change the text contents according to your need, and the source codes on the "structured data" side will be created with correct Schema.org vocabulary, in Microdata format.
• Currently the types of relations and roles are spelled out for human understanding. When really making structured data, the property labels can be deleted (e.g.,"Nationality:" can be omitted, and only keep the value of the nationality in the section.)
• You may use the Google Testing Tool to test the structured data source code. See a demo of the results.
• For additional properties check the Schema.org vocabulary, especially the Person class.
  

The next stage is to turn the structured data into an RDF data store [in development.]
